Ring: the point at which all directions become one. In essence, it is the horizon, brought close in encircling forms, such as here, in these cattails. That is the edge of the earth you’re looking at there, or the beginning of the sky. It is the point at which the line, the point, and the circle unite, each extending the other. In the sense of the body (and all things have a bodily sense) it is a mouth, an eye, or the ring of a hand around wrist. And it is in the world. Such wonders!
