Fade: The state of losing brightness and becoming colourless. It is the loss of the power to hold colour, and thus to shine. In the field of “fading” energy, brightness and colour are the same thing; the absence of light is death; and death is the absence of light. This energy is the foundation of many religions: the replacement of lost light by a light of the mind or a light of hope, in which the physical light is reformed outside of matter.
