Before

Before: to strike out into the unknown, an action that can be done alone, as a member of a group, or separately all at once. When considered from repose, it becomes not only an action in space but an action of time. During the action itself, though, it is without either. It makes them.

 

All kinds of grass before all other kinds of grass, all creating grass out of nothing at all.
