Sick: To carry and support the energy of a foreign life form, which has permeated one to the core, the way water soaks a sponge. The sick life form is weakened by the load of being unable to fully function on its own, and thus to be in a state of lack, the opposite of soak. One is a leak, like a lake to which an animal comes to drink.
