Splay

Splay: the act of folding the world, or cloth, now understand as the unfolding of the woven nature of cloth or any other body, revealing its hidden strength. The word is a shortened form of the more accurate display. Splayed gestures do not lose their folding, or their weaving, when unfolded, but extend it into broad, linked relationships.
