Twist: the energy of two, combined in one, as in two strands of grass twinned (twisted) as rope, two directions bound into one (they curl), twins, or two people moving as one. It is an energy of simultaneous tension and acceptance, which leads to greater strength, and stands in opposition to the ancient energy of sticks (fasci) bound to the axe that split them from a beam of wood, and which is the symbol of authoritarian (fascist) energy and law.
