Good: the energy of uniting small units into a large whole. This “good” energy is increased in community. A bee gathers tiny grains of pollen and makes them into a good, following this positive principle. A hive gathers bees together to make a colony, with intention and abilities exceeding that of any individual in the hive. The energy is latent in all things, but is released only by repetitive action. Accordingly, the energy of “good” is spoken of as “gathering”, which is its active force.
