Cap

Cap: the energy of ending or coming to a head, both physically and in terms of energy and narrative; also known as a time measure or a rest, not just what remains but what punctuates the journey; a form of memory in stillness, as in the cap, or skull, that retains the shape (and heat) of a human head (or human heading, or a paying of attention) after it is removed. When applied to large landforms, a cap is known as a cape. The capstone on the pillar below (known as The Pillar) in the North Okanagan Valley of British Columbia forms what the indigenous Syilx people refer to as the bones of our mother. It caps a time, and continues it.
