Wax: the energy of growth in bodies (such as people, the animals, and the Moon); increase of uncountable numbers, such as a herd of animals, which increases by adding individuals yet is measured by added size. As the stages of growth in people and the moon demonstrate, this is a power that appears in stages; it is not the steady growth found in plants. It holds the sense of future completion.
