The energy of lowering gently into water and drawing back up again. In this way water can be drawn from a well by dipping a bucket gently into the deeps, a baby can be baptized, or a spoon can skim off a few drops of soup to be tasted. This energy transfers to the object dipped into the water. It comes up bearing water, and bends down with water’s weight, but it does come up. Otherwise, it drops and is gone into the deep. Such objects have no dipping energy at all, and cannot draw water up to the lips.
