Clutch: the dry hold of lifeless fingers (fingers without movement, which is life): a word from the skeletal world, which has being and presence equal to that of “life” and shifts places with it, depending on need and opportunity. It represents a dry, still world rather than a liquid one. This is energy is transferable. A hand that grasps a cliff to keep from falling, clutches it because it has entered its energy space and needs its power to stay there. A clutch continued is known as a cling. One continued in a vertical progression is a climb.
