Bell: a bullish roar that became the shape of the metal made to replicate it and so became gentle, and as such has been passed down through time; a truly Christian symbol, and a demonstration of the earth-based power within Christian thought, which led to its adoption in earth-based cultures — in which the gentleness was already honoured.
