Spell: the manner in which eternal time is divided into episodic time without dropping its eternal qualities; originally, a “spell” of time bound by a line of will; later, the will was put into words, was “spelled” and what was written was a spell, first, and then a “charm”. It needn’t be so. Neither need a spell of time be created to obey the will that gives it light.
