Ebb: eddy; commonly used to refer to a curls and loops of water in a tide or a stream; anything entering it confronts its energy, is drawn into it, and is said to drag. In this way, one eddies (drags) a net, one lets it flow out of one’s hands into the water, and one feels the water’s energy in it, and the live fish following that flow. It is the same for dresses, trees, and wind. They ebb and flow, not one after the other, but together. Time’s circles are bound with this.
