Grey: The beaming form of blackness — a more intimate form of the colour blue. This colour is unique to the Germanic languages. Our ancestors learned it from the winter fogs that cast the sun everywhere in the forests, without source or shadow, and so they learned to see through the world into the world.

Ha! I didn’t know that the word Grey is unique to grey (weather) countries – fascinating 🙂
