Gather: the act of uniting and binding together. In the image below, the flower gathers its petals into its stamens and pistils, and gathers bees from the air, which come to gather pollen and nectar from the flowers. By visiting enough flowers, the bee gathers enough nectar to feed itself and its young, in a burrow in the ground. A bear, a deer, a marmot, a bird or a human can later be gathered by the flower to gather the seeds formed by this pollination. The flower gathers them all together into one unified whole of energy.
