Bow

Bow: the energy of thrusting to the side or the energy of being strong enough to resist a sideways drift by incorporating it into a lateral movement. It can be put to use in driving arrows to a target, a mechanism which releases the bound bowed energy from the weapon (called a “bow”), while returning it to its linear shape. It is found also in the bows of rivers, the bows of ships (which deflect the action of the waves and of water’s buoyancy) and the boughs of trees, that bend to the ground and resist being raised or turned aside. Bow energy is a gentle energy with almost irresistible strength gained through resiliency.
