One: the power of unity, exemplified best by onions, which are built out of layers, each of which can be the entire bulb, and all of which lead to (and come from) only one stalk. Note as well that a multiplicity of onions is actually a multiplicity of “ones”. As there is only a single “one”, the power of “one” as “unity” is stressed over the power of individuality.
