Shine

Shine: a form of shadow; the capacity to cast light; a broken space in darkness, in the way a shadow is a broken space in light. Matter has the capacity to purify light from the air to various degrees of intensity, which give it its specific and individual spiritual character. Note the different intensities of shine between the red ash hills, the older white clays, the sagebrush and the yellow flowers below. In this image, the sun is at its height. There are no darkness-shadows, only ones of light.
