Glimpse

Glimpse: A flash that calls the eyes (as yellow, green or blue) or the ears, as does a nightingale. They have to do with what was hidden and which drew attention to it.  The visual meaning has remained in colour. The aural meaning has remained in the word “call.” They are the same impulse. The world calls us.  Without thinking, we answer.

A Glimpse of Okanagan Lake (or the watcher, if you’re looking in the other direction, as the world) Through Spring Trees
